As a barrister for the Crown Prosecution Service, Alan is only too aware of how information gained through Crimestoppers can focus investigations to a positive result.
He also knows that not enough people lend their support to Crimestoppers, let alone realise that it is a charity and all its good work is funded by charitable donations. Alan feels that by running the London Marathon, he can raise the profile of Crimestoppers and help put the interests of vulnerable people first.

"Did a PB at the Wokingham half a few weeks back, and completed my final half marathon race in Reading on last weekend in 1:35 - so feel in good shape to stretch out the miles. Am now less than £100 from the fundraising target! Yippee! "
