Vanessa Elliott

Vanessa is the team's London Marathon veteran – she has completed the world famous event four times already, and just can't get enough of it.

She was prompted to join the Crimestoppers team after her mother was left severely shocked and bruised from a brutal assault. Her attacker was caught, but was released due to lack of identification.

Vanessa feels that too many people live their lives in fear, and is delighted to be helping Crimestoppers in their work to end the cycle of crime.

Vanessa's training comments:

"Hattie and I met at the weekend for our long run, twice around Richmond Park - we had a fantastic time and it was great preparation for the marathon. This weekend I am off to Hemel Hempstead for the 20 miler marathon training run. I've heard that it's hilly.....how will I manage?!"
