Darren is running the 2008 Flora London Marathon in memory of close friend Mel Ward, a probationary police officer who was brutally murdered in early 2007.
This tragic event has led Darren to see personally how crime devastates friends, families and communities – he is proud to be running for the Crimestoppers team, raising money to help make communities safer for everyone. Darren is running the marathon with friend and colleague, Toby Day.
