Become a volunteer

Volunteering as a Crimestoppers Board Member can be a very exciting and varied role:

You may find yourself involved in organising a black-tie fundraising dinner, promoting Crimestoppers' services in the aftermath of a high-profile murder or developing a publicity campaign to catch people causing criminal damage in your area.

Volunteers for Crimestoppers

In all areas, volunteers bring energy, enthusiasm and a concern for the welfare of the local community. You can bring in your own ideas and expertise to your local volunteer Board. No idea is a bad one when it comes to making your community safer!

So what type of people are we looking for?

We'd encourage anyone with a real interest in Crimestoppers and enthusiasm to help fight and solve crime to think about volunteering for Crimestoppers. We particularly seek skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Networking
  • Volunteer development
  • PR and Marketing
  • Finance
  • Project management
  • Fundraising

As a Volunteer Board Member for Crimestoppers you will have the opportunity to develop a range of skills and experiences, whilst using them for the benefit of your local community. There will also be opportunities to socialise and network with other like-minded individuals.

Please fill out our Volunteer Enquiry Form if you would like to receive information about volunteering locally.
