Suspect in Beshenivsky murder may be in Pakistan
A fresh appeal for information about Piran Ditta Khan, wanted in connection with PC Sharon Beshenivsky's murder, has been launched. [November 2009]
PC Sharon Beshenivsky was shot while on duty outside a travel agent in Bradford on 18 November 2005. She was responding to a call about an armed robbery at the time. Six people have already been convicted for their part in the robbery and her murder.
Suspect Piran Ditta Khan remains at large. Police believe he may be in Pakistan. Posters showing Khan's picture and detailing why he is wanted are being distributed in Pakistan.
A £20,000 reward is available for information on Piran Ditta Khan that results in his arrest and conviction. To be eligible for the reward, the information must be supplied to Crimestoppers. In the event of more that one person supplying the same information, the reward would be split between all who are eligible.
