    Two women are killed every week as a result of Domestic Violence in England and Wales. If you suspect a friend or family member is experiencing abuse you can call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  • Crimestoppers - Working with UKHTC to prevent human traffickingHuman trafficking

    An estimated 1,420 women were trafficked to the UK in 2000. The exact scale of the problem in the UK currently is unknown.

    Crimestoppers ‘Traffic Signs' film is about the disturbing world of sex trafficking. The aim is to raise awareness of the increase in this exploitative trade and encourage anonymous calls to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

  • Ugly Mugs

    Following public consultation on prostitution run by the Home office in 2004, it became clear that those involved in prostitution - particularly street-based prostitution - are disproportionately likely to be victims of violent and sexual crime.

  • Crimestoppers working with CEOP to help locate missing child sex offendersSex offenders

    One of our most high profile partnerships is working with the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre, helping to locate convicted child sex offenders who have failed to comply with notification requirements.
