Who is Crimestoppers?

We are an independent charity helping to find criminals and help solve crimes.

We have an anonymous 24/7 phone number, 0800 555 111, that people can call to pass on information about crime; alternatively people can send us information anonymously via this website, using our Giving Information Form. You don't have to give your name or any of personal details. We do not trace calls or Giving Information Forms.

Did you know...?

Every day 23 people are arrested and charged as a result of information passed to us.

Fight crime without revealing your identity - batman calling cardRewards are also available and are paid without compromising a caller's anonymity.

The information you give us is passed onto the police in such a way that they do not know who you are; we have never given the police information about our callers. It's a simple and secure way of bringing criminals to justice, without anybody knowing who the information came from.

It works!

The Crimestoppers service is one that works for everyone, except criminals. As a result of the information passed to us:

  • Every seven days someone is arrested and charged with murder.
  • Drugs with a street value of £229m have been recovered.
  • £122 million worth of goods have been recovered.
