Crackdown on drivers breaking temporary speed limits

[5th February 2008]

Eight drivers have been fined and banned after breaking temporary speed limits.

All eight were caught in Rue du Pont Vaillant last week after the speed limit was lowered from 35mph to 15mph, because the road was changed from two-way to one-way.

Drivers were fined £120 and banned from driving for two weeks. This marks part of an ongoing crackdown on the isand to stop motorists from breaking temporary speed limits.
