Vandals trash Guernsey primary school

[27th March 2008]

Amherst Primary School's new playground was vandalised over the Easter weekend.

The incident happened sometime between 4pm on Saturday 22nd March and 8.45am on Sunday 23rd. Benches and a climbing frame were damaged and two cherry trees were destroyed. Children at the school had been recycling their mobile phones in order to buy the fruit trees.
