Volunteers look after victims of crime

A new service is being introduced by Victim Support, whereby volunteers are being trained to look after victims of crime or court witnesses in Jersey.

The service will ensure that those who are called-on to give evidence in court will know what to expect. The volunteers can show the victim around before the court appearance and accompany them on the day.
