Speeding motorcyle on Victoria Avenue

On Thursday 2 February 2012, a speed check on the westbound carriageway of Victoria Avenue in St. Helier was conducted by the States of Jersey Police.

At 18.10pm a large, dark coloured motorcycle travelled from the traffic lights opposite La Motte Ford towards Bel Royal at a speed of 75mph. The vehicle failed to stop for police and continued on its journey, merging in with the traffic.

Police are now requesting that any motorist who may have seen this incident or saw the vehicle contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via our online Giving Information Form or alternatively, contact States of Jersey Police on 612612.
