We've been running a campaign to highlight crime to school children for a couple of years now. We eventually aim to reach every school in Nottinghamshire.
Children see and hear about crime but some are too frightened to come forward to either a teacher, parent or police officer. This may be through fear or because they are involved. Crimestoppers is there to bridge that gap and also help the relation between children and police officers.
We're encouraging children to remember the anonymous Crimestoppers phone number, 0800 555 111 and to use it when they know something about crime.
