Lock up your boss
Nottinghamshire Crimestoppers hosted a ‘Lock Up Your Boss' event at Nottingham's Galleries of Justice on Friday 6 June.
The event gave employees across the county the opportunity to put their bosses behind bars to raise money for the charity, including Trading Standards, the DAAT ( Drug Alcohol Action Team) Labour MPs, Police Officers and the Children and Young Persons services.
Richard Felix from Living TV's Most Haunted came to give an insight into the deaths and murders which had happened at the Galleries and the Ashfield Paranormal team were there to help with any spirits trying to return. The evening was a great fundraiser for the board with an estimated £6,000 raised.

Nottinghamshire Crimestoppers is giving employees across Nottinghamshire the chance to put their bosses behind bars at Nottingham's Galleries of Justice to raise money for the charity.
The special event, which is on Friday 6th June 2008, is being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nottinghamshire Crimestoppers and the 20th anniversary of the charity as a whole.
‘Inmates' can expect to be locked up in the original cells at the Gallery of Justice! Organisers are inviting employees and bosses to contact them to experience the cell door being shut and locked up for a few hours. The event will start at around 7pm with an opening address by one of Nottinghamshire's senior police officers, which will be followed by a reception for the inmates and their guests. At around 8pm, the prisoners will go through a shortened, and rather more entertaining, version of the standard prisoner procedure before being sentenced in the Victorian court. They will then be taken down to the Georgian prison, where they will be ‘banged up' until around 10pm.
It won't be the most pleasant experience – the cells are still in their original state and do not hold the comforts of today's cells, such as toilets or bedding. In addition, the Great British Ghost Hunt took place at ten of Britain's most haunted locations and named the Galleries of Justice the most haunted place in the country after 31 instances of paranormal activity were recorded on the night!
Funds raised at the event will be used to promote Crimestoppers throughout Nottinghamshire, encouraging people to call the 0800 555111 number and give information about crime anonymously and safely.
