  Statistics revealed by the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers have revealed that just over 790 pieces of information were passed to the police between April 2011 and March 2012 in Cambridgeshire - leading to 86 arrests and charges [June 2012].

• Calf stabbed through the eye - reward offered

  Crimestoppers is appealing for information about those responsible for killing a calf in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, on Tuesday 24 May. The calf, owned by farmer Basil King of Rector Farm, had been stabbed through the eye with a screwdriver.
