Could you be the new Volunteer Chair of Cambridgeshire Crimestoppers?
The independent charity Crimestoppers helps make communities safer places to live and bring criminals to justice by giving people the chance to provide information about crime anonymously. Crimestoppers is highly effective – around 23 people are arrested and charged every day as a result of information given to the charity.

Your role will include motivating, encouraging and supporting all volunteer members to deliver effective results in line with their experience, available commitment and overall aspirations. You will also be responsible for the implementation and tackling of an annual business plan, noting suitable success criteria and leading on development.
You will need experience of delivering high impact verbal and written proposals and presentations at senior level meetings, and your highly developed interpersonal and network skills will be essential in liaison with other partners in order to achieve the stated objectives of Crimestoppers, (statutory, corporate, media partners etc).
This role would require a three year commitment, including quarterly committee meetings, but the time dedicated to the role will be balanced with the successful individual’s other demands.
