V Festival 2008 - Win tickets
Essex Crimestoppers is again giving away two camping tickets to the 2008 V Festival in Hylands Park near Chelmsford, being held on 16th and 17th August.

Bogus callers
In 2007, Crimestoppers rolled out its first ever region-wide radio campaign to to tackle 'bogus callers'. Bogus callers use many different ploys to gain access and then search for money or anything else of value that they can carry off.

Crack under pressure
The campaign targeting crack cocaine was hugely successful - 30 people were arrested in relation to 55 drug offences and a 25% increase in drug-related calls to Crimestoppers.

Crime against businesses is an issue which is underestimated according to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
