Crimestoppers offers reward of up to £1,000 for information on sexual assault in Essex
The independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Harlow last summer, with the alleged perpetrator still to be found. [18 May 2012]

Just after 4am on Sunday July 17, 2011, police were called following reports that a 21-year-old woman had been assaulted near Kitson Way, Harlow.
The woman was walking past the Total Garage when she was approached from behind by a man who dragged her into the bushes. She managed to free herself from her attacker but was left with scratches and bruises.
Crimestoppers is offering this reward for information coming through its anonymous phone number 0800 555 111 that leads to an arrest and charge.
Ann Scott, Eastern Regional Manager for Crimestoppers, said: “This man has been at large for nine months now and the victim of this crime deserves to see him brought to justice after her ordeal”.
“When contacting Crimestoppers we never ask for your name or take any of your personal details and we don’t trace or record your call. Those giving information to Crimestoppers will not have to give a statement to Police or go to court. Anonymity is one of the main reasons people prefer to talk to us than the police. We don’t want to know who you are, only what you know – it could be the missing piece to the puzzle to help catch this individual. In the 24 years that the charity has been running we have never revealed anyone’s identity”.
A CCTV image is available to view on the Crimestoppers Most Wanted website and can be viewed here http://wanted.crimestoppers-uk.org/detail.aspx?ID=44540. If you have any information contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Alternatively, information can be given through our secure online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org but rewards cannot be claimed this way.
