Business crime
Crime against businesses is an issue which is underestimated according to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Now the FSB is linking with Essex Crimestoppers to raise awareness of business crime issues. The FSB has included Crimestoppers publicity material in its membership packs and is urging members to display Crimestoppers posters as part of its campaign.
The move followed a presentation to the Essex Crimestoppers by FSB regional co-ordinator, Terry Tabor, who outlined surveys on crime against businesses that his organisation had undertaken.
Essex FSB has also issued its members with a Best Practises document in business crime recognition.
