• Crimestoppers volunteer receives MBE

  Peter French, who has volunteered for Crimestoppers for 16 years and currently the deputy chair of our London committee, has been rewarded for this work by being appointed an MBE for services to the police. [January 2010]

• OPERATION RETURN - A London case makes the Most Wanted list

  A man convicted of manslaughter is wanted by the Metropolitan Police Service and believed to be on the run in the Netherlands, has been named as part of a list of six fugitives wanted for serious crimes unveiled today by the crime-busting charity, Crimestoppers. [16 March 2010]

• Don't let your money fund serious crime

  Crimestoppers, is telling Newham and Hounslow residents that they can prevent their money being used to fund serious crimes by only using registered money bureaus when transferring money abroad. [September 2009]

• Help fight hate crime with Crimestoppers

  Crimestoppers is running a campaign in Hounslow and Newham to encourage residents to pass on information about hate crime.

• Brain Game 2008

  The London Crimestoppers Brain Game was held on 17 November this year and was another tremendous sucess.

• Time 107.5fm

  Time 107.5fm are currently supporting police in the borough of Redbridge with their crime-fighting initiatives, and London Crimestoppers are pleased to be involved with this too.

• Southwark Community Affairs launch

  In February, we launched our project to tackle youth crime in Southwark. The event was held at the Ministry of Sound and was attended by young people, our inspirational Crimestoppers Community Champions, beatboxer Faith SFX, Choice FMs DJ Rollo, plus many more!
