Blandford Street, Sunderland, assault - can you help?
Police have released CCTV stills of men they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Sunderland. [17 May 2011]
It happened on Friday, 15 April, between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on Blandford Street in the city centre. The 39-year-old victim was walking on the street when he became involved in a verbal altercation with a group of men.
He was assaulted by one of the men before they made off from the scene.
The victim suffered facial injuries as a result of the incident. He was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital for treatment before being discharged.
Officers are keen to speak to the men pictured as they may be able to help with their enquiries.
