The Virtual Grand National, Merseyside Crimestoppers dinner

Merseyside Crimestoppers will be taking the idea of a charity race night to the next level on 23 October at the Liner Hotel in Liverpool.

With sponsorship from Ladbrokes, William Hill and Bet Fred, Merseyside Crimestoppers will be bringing guests the 'Virtual Grand National' from the industry's top professionals.

As a part of the evening there will be a special prize for the best dressed race-goer, so come on girls - get your posh hat out, and boys - give your tails and top hat an airing - you never know, you could just win the prize.

The event will be held at the Liner Hotel in Lord Nelson Street (at the side of Lime Street station), Liverpool on Thursday 23rd October 2008. Jim Porter from Bet Fred, complete with kilt, and Joe Curran, the Liverpool Chamber Evening economy Manager will be your hosts for the night - Merseyside Crimestoppers' answer to Ant and Dec!

Our special guest performer is ‘Stars in Their Eyes' winner Paul McCoy, who will be covering the Rat Pack numbers and up-tempo tracks.
