The invisible man TV advert

Merseyside Crimestoppers and 5 other Crimestoppers Boards within the North West area (Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, and the Isle Man), joined forces to raise money to fund a television advert campaign promoting the Crimestoppers message 'Tell us what you know, not who you are', throughout the North West.

The animated ad, which was aired on ITVs Borders and Granada networks, enlists the famous fictional character - 'The Invisible Man'. The Invisible Man is the hero who reports a theft from a car using the anonymous Crimestoppers phone number. The message that the Crimestoppers phone number, 0800 555 111, is anonymous, was a big focus of the advert.
