As winner of the first ‘Crimestoppers Award for Creativity', Sarah will have elements of her campaign, with the title ‘Give Crime The Boot', implemented throughout Grampian over the next year. Crimestoppers were delighted to have the award sponsored by Scotland's leading public relations consultancy, The Big Partnership, who also assisted in judging the entries.

Crimestoppers in Grampian offered third year Public Relations students at RGU Business School the opportunity to play an important role in crime reduction in the North East of Scotland, whilst gaining valuable ‘real life' experience. Students were asked to develop a campaign proposal to raise awareness of the service Crimestoppers provides along with suggestions on raising the funds required to pay for the campaign. The project was included as part of the student's coursework module – 'Public Relations Specialisms and Application' - and all entries were judged anonymously.

This years' Award will be launched on Thursday 2 October at RGU by Inspector Roddy MacInnes, Grampian Police and Michelle Herd, Crimestoppers Project Organiser Grampian/Highlands.
