No deal

Most callers to Crimestoppers have information about drugs. The campaign seeks to increase the number of people who give information about drug-related activity.

Launched in Gosport, it has also been used by Hampshire's Accredited Community Safety Officers and by Drum and Swaythling Housing Associations to good effect.

Crimestoppers Hampshire and Isle of Wight - No deal

No deal!

If you want to stop drug dealing in your neighbourhood but don't want to talk directly to the police, you can call Crimestoppers. We've teamed up with all the agencies and organisations that want to make your community a safer place to live.

Drug dealers don't wear labels, but you know better than anyone else what's going on. Crimestoppers is a national charity set up to stop crime and bring the guilty to justice. We take calls all day and all night with information about crime, which we pass to the police.

We don't ask who you are, so don't tell us. Your call is free. It's not recorded, traced or billed, nor is your number captured, so no one will know you phoned. You can't be interviewed or called to give evidence. To arrest a dealer, the police need to build up a jigsaw of intelligence. Your call might be a crucial missing piece or it could start a whole new puzzle.

As more information comes in, the ring around the dealers gets tighter. Crimestoppers can pay rewards for arrests and you can still stay anonymous. To find out more, call us on 0800 555 111.

It's your neighbourhood. Help us to help you make it better. Turning a blind eye to crime won't make it go away. If you feel you can talk to the police directly, it will help them put a case together more quickly. Call on 0845 045 4545.

If you call us with information, these are the kind of questions we will ask. The more you can tell us, the greater the value. You will not know all the answers . Do not put yourself at risk.
