Wallplanners help to spread the word
Sue Fobbester Publicity produces Crimestoppers wall planners for most of Hampshire's major towns, which provide advertising opportunities for local firms and keeps the Crimestoppers message in the public eye. The wall planners use both the calendar and the academic year.

Record results in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
Figures released for the year to the end of March 2008 show that arrests resulting from calls about crime in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to the charity Crimestoppers have increased by 29%. [17th April 2008]

Crimestoppers offers reward to catch grandmother's murderer
Crimestoppers is offering a reward of £1,000, for information that leads to an arrest in Operation Columbian - the investigation into the murder of Georgina Edmunds in Brambridge, near Winchester, on 11th January.

Crimestoppers - 20 years on the beat
Crimestoppers were featured in the Basingstoke Gazette recently for all the work we've done in the last 20 years. As this year marks Crimestoppers' 20th anniversary, it was a great time to tell everyone in our area about all the beneficial work we've been doing in local communities.

Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Communities
We've been making some excellent links with BME communities in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We've recently been targeting Portugese, Nepalese and Polish communities in the region.

Working with Fire and Rescue
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Crimestoppers works with the Fire and Rescue Services of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Both services were involved in campaigns to increase the reporting of doorstep crime.
