Diwali Lantern Parade in Woking
Staff and volunteers put their artistic skills to the test making a lantern in the shape of a mobile phone for the Diwali parade.
The lantern parade included a band, several Woking businesses, schools and local organisations. Surrey Crimestoppers is planning a comprehensive awareness campaign in March - May 2008 in the Borough of Woking and the parade gave us the opportunity to meet and mix with Borough residents. It is one of the first of a variety of opportunities Surrey Crimestoppers will be using to broadcast the Crimestoppers message in the Borough of Woking.
