Loaded Dice
Local talent makes National Final!
As Crimestoppers are the designated charity of South Coast Idol, Loaded Dice from Shepperton have chosen to also help promote their local Surrey Crimestoppers.
Competing with 10,000+ other hopeful acts, the band, Steven Wilkinson, 17, Ian Lennon, 17, Anthony Wilkinson, 15 and Lui Matthews, 18, have had to make it through 2 rounds of auditions, a live semi final show and a regional final, becoming a regional winner. They went on to win the title of the UK's best Live and Unsigned act. As the overall winner of the competition, the band won a management contract and initial financial investment with Future Music.

We at Surrey Crimestoppers welcome this opportunity to reach a young audience. We hope to work with Loaded Dice again soon. After all, the more people who are given the Crimestoppers message, the more likely it is that we will receive valuable information that will help reduce crime in Surrey. Many young people know who commits criminal offences. They want to do something about it, but for whatever reason do not want to go directly to the police themselves. This is where Crimestoppers comes in. By calling the 0800 555 111 phone number, anyone can pass on their information via Crimestoppers, without ever having to give a name or any personal details. No-one will know who it was who called.
