Our plans

We are focusing on 3 main actions this Year:

  • To continue promoting awareness of the anonymous phone number
We are currently targeting each of the 11 Boroughs in Surrey with a concentrated general awareness campaign and some crime specific campaigns. The first Borough we're targeting is Woking. Working with Woking Borough Council, Police, Fire and Rescue Service and local businesses, we aim to make as many people as possible in the Borough aware of the anonymous 0800 555 111 phone number and the opportunity we give to provide information about crime anonymously.
  • To encourage new volunteers to join us
We want to recruit new volunteers to bring fresh ideas and skills to the Board and our activities. Whether the volunteers become Board members, or Borough Champions, spreading the Crimestoppers message in their community, we are exploring ways to attract motivated, talented people with time to spare, to work with us in whatever ways they can.
  • To obtain funding
We are actively seeking new ways to obtain a secure stream of funds to finance the exciting campaigns and projects we have planned. We are promoting our Surrey 200 Club to attract business sponsorship.
