Bogus callers
Sussex Crimestoppers are working with Sussex Police Major Crime Branch initiative to gather intelligence about the criminals who prey on older people and those most vulnerable, often as bogus callers.
Much work has been done previously to advise vulnerable people how to avoid becoming a victim of such crime, but for the first time a focus is being drawn onto those who perpetrate this most serious of crimes.
The campaign is generously supported by Legal & General, Southern Water and South-East Water.
