What can you, as a member of the community, do to help fight crime?

  • See “crime” as a problem to which we all have ownership
  • Be a team player and get involved in your local community and/or your local action team (via the police/council)
  • Attend local consultation events and contribute to the new Local Assessments to tackle crime
  • Be an active partner and volunteer to help promote safer communities locally
  • Support and promote Crimestoppers
  • Call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously if you know information about crime. You can also pass on information anonymously online using our secure information giving form.
