Devon and Cornwall Crimestoppers regularly runs campaigns in the region, to raise awareness about crimes that might be affecting your communities.

Community and basketball in high-crime schools
Together with the Plymouth Raiders basketball team, we've been visiting high-crime schools to teach children about taking responsibility for their community. We've reached over 1,000 young people and have seen a massive reduction in crime!

Life skills
We've been visiting primary schools to teach young people about Crimestoppers and to addess issues that children face when they're about to enter secondary school.

Local offences board
In a local school we introduced a 'local offences' board, where we put details of local crimes and asked children from the school to give any information they knew about the crimes.

Tackling retail crime
Devon and Cornwall Crimestoppers and Plymouth and South West Co-operative have joined forces to combat retail crime. Retail crime can include anything from threatening behaviour, shoplifting, verbal abuse and violence to both customers and retail staff.

Tag on a tagger
We've been promoting 'Tag on a tagger' across Devon and Cornwall to find criminals who have been spoiling their communities with graffiti. One of our Plymouth posters led to an individual admitting to over 40 offences.
