Local offences board
In a local school we introduced a 'local offences' board, where we put details of local crimes and asked children from the school to give any information they knew about the crimes.
Earlier this year, we went into Kingsbridge School and created a 'local offences' board. We selected some local crimes that we were keen to solve and wrote the information up there. Then we encouraged children in the school to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if they knew any information about these crimes.
The initiative was greatly supported by the Deputy Principal of Kingsbridge School and was deemed a great success.
