More than 90 golfers took part in Gloucestershire Crimestoppers' fundraising Golf Tournament at Tewkesbury Park Golf Club during Gloucestershire Crimestoppers Week at the end of last year.
The tournament, which is now an annual event, raised over £4,600 in sponsorship, thanks to teams from leading local businesses and organisations including, Severn Sound Radio, Gloucestershire Chamber of Commerce, This is Gloucestershire and SK Refrigeration based at Churcham Business Park, Gloucester.
“Our golf day has been extremely well-supported since it was first launched more than seven years ago. As a fundraising event it has helped to raise more than £20,000 for the Charity,” said Nick Plevey one of the main event organisers.
