Fearless at South West ACPO Youth Practitioners event

On Tuesday 20 March, Gordon Chisholm, Q.P.M. Development Officer for West Country Crimestoppers was invited to the South West Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Youth Practitioners' Event as a speaker. The event took place at the headquarters of the Avon and Somerset Constabulary at Portishead, near Bristol [4 April 2012].

The conference was opened by a key note speech from Acting Deputy Chief Constable (ADCC) Sharon Taylor of Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and was attended by over 80 youth practitioners who work directly with young people from all five police forces in the South West.

The main topic of the presentation was the promotion of the Crimestoppers youth brand Fearless and the website Fearless.org.

Gordon Chisholm said, 'This was a great opportunity to promote Fearless and its website to so many people who work with young people in the whole of the South West, and the delegates' interest in Fearless was just so positive.'
