Open golf tournaments
After the tremendous success of our first three Crimestoppers Open Golf Tournaments at Orchardleigh and North Wiltshire golf clubs, we returned to Orchardleigh last year.
As a charity, we rely on funding from events such as our Golf Tournament to raise essential funds to continue our valuable work.
Our 2007 event was a huge success with 28 teams taking part. Prizes were up for grabs for the longest drive (male and female), closest to the pin on selected holes and top four teams on the day overall.
For the less serious golfers, we also held a putting competition throughout the day. Three balls cost £1 and the winner was either the nearest to the hole or the highest number of holed putts.
We also held an auction of golf orientated items including donations from top golf players.
Look out for details of next year's golf tournament soon!
