• MBE for former Wales Crimestoppers Chairman

  The former Chairman of Wales/Cymru Crimestoppers, Terry Flynn, has been awarded an MBE in the 2012 New Year Honours List. Terry will receive the accolade for services to the community in Cardiff and Crime Prevention in Wales [5 January 2011.

  Crimestoppers has launched a campaign to locate ten of the most wanted fraudsters in the UK. The list includes a female carer who is believed to have conned an elderly patient out of thousands of pounds in Cardiff.

  Gwent Police is warning residents of a potential scam after two people received phone calls offering them up to £7000 rebate on their council tax in exchange for a donation to charity.
