New Kid On The Block
With the recent retirement of Neale Evans, Crimestoppers Wales/Cymru is pleased to introduce our new Chairman, Terry Flynn.
Terry a retired Sales General Manager, brings a wealth of experience in working with voluntary organisations and charities.
Having previously held the post of Crimestoppers Wales/Cymru Deputy Chairman, Founder Member/Chairman of the Cardiff East Neighbourhood Watches as well as Director of Safer Wales, itis fair to say that Terry is the perfect man for the job! Speaking of his appointment Terry commented: "The organisation faces many exciting and difficult challenges in Wales over the next few years in continuing to promote ourselves and I am delighted to have been elected Chairman during this period. I will do all I can to continue the good work of others and continue to promote Crimestoppers at every available opportunity."
Terry will be helped in his task by his Deputy Chairman Stewart Taylor and Stephen Cotterrell in addition to Hon Treasurer Nigel Davies and Press and Publicity Officer John Munton, who completes the team. The thankless task of taking the minutes will be undertaken by Mrs Marjorie Phillips. Good luck Terry you may need it!
Viva La Crimestoppers
It would appear that there's just no escape from Crimestoppers Wales/Cymru, not for our Board members anyway! Whilst enjoying the sunshine in Spain this summer, two prominent Board members found themselves not only in the same area, but in the very same hotel!
Had they found a few more members they could have held a Board meeting around the pool.
