Talent Awards

Staffordshire Crimestoppers is running a competition for young people to communicate Crimestoppers' message creatively. Categories include poster design, creative writing, music, video, dance and drama.
The Staffordshire Crimestoppers Talent Awards have been designed to encourage young people to express Crimestoppers' ethos in whichever category they wish to enter. Each participant will be asked to empathise with Crimestoppers' message and encapsulate the message by communicating it artistically and effectively.
The competition will help pupils to understand what Crimestoppers is, encourage them to think about what is right and wrong, how our choices affect our future and how we can communicate this to others.

Who is eligible?
All young people. The competiton age groups are divided into the following categories:
Key Stage 1 / School years 1 and 2 / Age 5 to 7
Key Stage 2 / School years 3 to 6 / Ages 7 to 11
Key Stage 3 / School years 7 to 9 / Ages 11 to 14
Key Stage 4 / School years 10 and 11 / Ages 14 to 16
Sixth Form / Ages 17 and 18
What are the prizes?
Each entrant will receive a certificate and winnders will receive a trophy, which will be presented at the award ceremony. Sponsors may also provide additional prizes for the individual category they sponsor. VIPs will present the category winner awards at an 'Oscars'-style ceremony.
