How you can help

Crimestoppers is a charity, so we rely on volunteers to help us promote our anonymous telephone number, 0800 555 111. We also need volunteers to help us organise campaigns in the West Midlands. West Midlands Crimestoppers - Dudley campaign

In the past, we ran a campaign to reduce vehicle crime, ‘Safe and Sound'. In Dudley, we put up rewards of hundreds of pounds, for anyone who gave information anonymously about people who commit vehicle crime. As a result, we managed to reduce theft of and from vehicles by 29% in 1 year – that's 1,954 fewer vehicle crimes.

West Midlands Crimestoppers - Coventry campaignWe ran another campaign in Coventry to try to prevent burglary and violence in the area, by encouraging more Coventry residents to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. We wanted them to tell us about burglars, thieves and violent locals. After 1 year, the number of burglary and victims of violence had reduced by 6% - that's 34 fewer victims in your communities.

We want to organise more campaigns such as these, so that we can help make your communities in the West Midlands safer. However, we need your help to do so. If you're interested in volunteering for West Midlands Crimestoppers, please fill our our Volunteer Enquiry Form.
