We help to promote the charity in communities across the region, to let people know that Crimestoppers is there for them as an anonymous route to pass on information about crime. Crimestoppers guarantees anonymity, which means that no-one can ever find out who passed on information about crime.

      A joint fundraising and awareness event was held in partnership with the Brighton Old Police Cells Museum charity. Some prominent members of the East and West Sussex communities volunteered to be ‘arrested and locked up in the cells’ at the museum. To secure their release, they had to raise a bail in the for of donations to be shared between the two charities. Prisoners included Sussex Crimestoppers Co-Patron author and director Peter James and Sussex Chief Constable Martin Richards as well as a number of local dignitaries

      Sedgley Park training centre in North Manchester was the venue for the charity's first Northern Conference, which saw delegates attend from the North West, Yorkshire & Humberside and the North East.
