Campaign to hunt some of the UK’s most wanted fraudsters launched by Crimestoppers
Crimestoppers is hunting for ten of the most wanted fraudsters from across the UK, this follows reports earlier this year that fraud cost the UK an estimated £38 billion in 2010. [2 August 2011]
The ten on Crimestoppers’ Most Wanted Fraudsters list are believed to be responsible for at least £200 million worth of fraud.

Paedophile arrested hours after most wanted appeals revealed
Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers has seen early success after the arrest of a wanted paedophile within hours of the fifth anniversary Operation Captura going live.
Dominic Steven Powell, 48, wanted by South Wales Police and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) to serve a 16 week prison sentence for failing to provide notification of foreign travel as part of his reporting requirement as a Very High Risk Registered Sex Offender, was arrested in Mijas, southern Spain by Guardia Civil on Thursday 20 October 2011.

Crimestoppers and Openreach join forces to tackle cable theft in Doncaster

Openreach have joined forces in an attempt to clamp down on hundreds of
thousands of pounds worth of cable theft that has occurred in the
Doncaster area and across Humberside in recent months, with a £2,000
reward on offer from the communications company for information that
