Bristol woods searched in terror investigation

[24th April 2008]

Police are searching the woods near the home of the suspect who is being held under the Terrorism Act.

Badocks Wood is being searched after Andrew Ibrahim was arrested on 18th April. Three controlled explosions were subsequently carried out at his flat.

Police have been granted until 1st May to question Mr Ibrahim.

Mr Ibrahim apparently moved to the area three weeks ago and has recently converted to Islam.
