Fifteen terror plots foiled since 7/7

Fifteen terrorist plots have been foiled since the London bombings on 7th July three years ago.
Sir Ian Blair, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, has said that the complexity of planned attacks and in particular the use of computers by extremists mean that longer pre-charge limits are necessary. Due to escalating threats, there are calls for increasing the time that officers can detain terror suspects.
Some of the planned attacks were apparently very recent and were disrupted by detectives using sophisticated methods.
