YouTube appeal for fatal shooting

[10th April 2008]

The family of a 16-year old who was fatally shot in Manchester have launched an appeal on YouTube to help catch the killer.

Louis Braithwaite was shot in a William Hill betting shop in Mauldeth Road, West Withington, in January.

His family have released some video footage of him on YouTube, in the hope that it will stir someone's conscience to come forward with information about the murder.

The gunman is described as being approximately 5ft 7in tall and was dressed in dark clothing with his face covered. He fired five shots outside the betting shop and ran away with another man. Police also want to track down a black VW Golf, with a car registration of WG07 YXY or something similar.
