Bogus door-to-door callers in Inverness
Police in Inverness are warning members of the public to be alert when dealing with door to door callers. [5 April 2012]
Two females in their mid-to-late 20's are believed to have stolen items from a house in the Dalneigh are after claiming to represent a deaf and blind children's charity.
Members of the public are advised to always ask those calling at their homes for formal indentification and should not allow anyone they do not know to enter their home.
Anyone who suspects a door to door caller to be bogus or has information relating to the theft from Dalneigh is asked to contact police in Inverness on 01463 715555.
