Theft of baby grave items in Stockton-on-Tees
A Stockton-on-Tees mother who had adorned her baby boy's grave with silver mementoes returned to find they had been stolen. [4 April 2012]
Kelly Mains, 34, had left a silver-plated train with two carriages and a silver dummy on her baby boy Stuart's grave.
Stuart died five days after he was born on April 23 last year.
Ms Mains had not visited the grave, in Cowpen Lane Cemetery in Low Grange, Billingham, for five days, as she has just given birth to another baby.
She believes this is when the theft took place.
