Girl freed from armed siege

A six-year old girl, who was held hostage in a North Yorkshire house for 39 hours, has been freed.

Paul Eames, 32, who was believed to be armed with knives, is currently in police custody. He was led from the Scarborough property by police, shortly after the girl was brought out by police.
