Husband charged with wife's murder

The husband of a successful businesswoman has been remanded in custody charged with her murder.

Alisdair Sinclair, 47, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Wednesday accused of stabbing his wife to death. Sally Sinclair's body was found in their Hampshire home on Saturday 16 August. The 40-year old was head of business analysis at Vodafone. Mr Sinclair did not enter a plea in court and he didn't make an application for bail. He'll appear in Winchester Crown Court in November.
