Murdered students in Newcastle

Police will release more information today about two Chinese students found murdered in a flat in Newcastle.

The man and woman were found with head injuries in what was described as a 'gruesome' scene. The man, who was found in one room, apparently had 'massive head injuries'. The woman also had head injuries, but a post-mortem shows she may also have been asphyxiated. A silver hatchback car has been removed from the property. Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
