Sex offenders on Jersey visited by police

Police have been visiting known sex offenders on the island and are asking them to stay in touch on a voluntary basis.

There are 121 sex offenders living on Jersey, whom police believe require monitoring.

Although Jersey has no formal sex offenders' register, new legislation will be discussed in September.
